The feminine and romantic dress was purchased from a local consignment shop for our wedding. It was wore once and cleaned before that. This dress is fitted through the chest, waist and upper part of the hip area, then mermaids out with a beautiful Spanish-style asymmetrical skirt with layers of laces underneath. A couple alterations were made: the train is trimmed so that it barely graces the floor when walking. Also, one under layer of tulle was taken out to create an elongated, elegant silhouette! One extra box of beads and pearls is available for your creativity. I took it to the dry cleaner and the lady actually recommend against cleaning it because it was pristine and she thought cleaning it would actually age the fabric without accomplishing much. The only noticeable place is the underside of the back where the dress touches the floor. It has been stored in the original garment bag that it came with.
